TEXAS. not sure what runs my dakota lithium down when I shut unit off and store system, so I started disconnecting the power cables going from the battery to the garmin 1222 and the livescope box and it solved the issue. have fished 6 hours on an 18 amp hour dakota lithium and it still read 13 volts on the screen. I made a mini transom from a 2x4 and inserted a small shaft in the bottom that fit into the rod holder. This set up is really rigid and hardly any flex in the shaft.
